My focus is on the Northern Heath – the paths and open spaces I know best myself. Small groups, real stillness, time for the one moment that’s worth it. Whether as a team outing with colleagues, for family visiting who don’t know the heath yet, or as a small, personal tour for two – I tailor the tour to the occasion and the group.

In the Footsteps of the Heath's Great and Small Heroes – Discovering Responsibility and Diversity

What would the Lüneburg Heath be without its heroes? This special guided tour takes you on an exciting journey of discovery through one of Germany’s best-known cultural landscapes. Over roughly 6 km, you’ll experience firsthand how closely nature, people, and animals are connected – and why even the most unassuming creatures play a crucial role. Together, we’ll follow in the footsteps of the “heroes of the heath” and discover new perspectives.

Upcoming dates (Tours in German):

  • Saturday, September 5, 2026, 10.00 AM (15 euros per person, 10 euros for teens)
  • Sunday, September 13, 2026, 10.00 AM (guided tour as part of the Nature Park Experience Weeks, donation-based participation)

Important information:

  • Start and end point is in Undeloh (more detailed meeting point info will follow upon registration).
  • The tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
  • The route runs along sandy paths and is about 6 km long.
  • Suitable for adults and teens aged 12 and up (teens only when accompanied by an adult).
  • Min. 4 to max. 15 participants.
