I’m Leni – I grew up with the open view across the Lüneburg Heath, and for years I’ve felt just as at home in the landscapes of southern Africa. Two places that couldn’t be more different, yet they shape me in the same way: through vastness, through light, through the stillness that comes when you truly give a place your time.

My camera is never the goal, only the tool. What interests me is what happens behind the facade – the unguarded moments in the middle of a business event, the light that transforms a lodge suite in the early morning, an animal completely at ease in its natural surroundings. These are exactly the moments I want to capture: unposed, atmospheric, real.

As a guide, I share this same approach with the people who join me – whether on a tour through the Lüneburg Heath or out in southern Africa. Trained as a safari guide (FGASA and BQA certified) and as a certified nature and landscape guide in Lüneburg Heath Nature Park, I bring not only a photographer’s eye but also real knowledge of the places themselves. I don’t just show you a place – together, we discover what truly makes it what it is.
